Building the Organization of Tommorow

Abstract

The Organisation of Tomorrow (ØØT) is an open-source framework and operational playbook for partner-run, AI-augmented firms. It synthesises thirty years of entrepreneurial practice, anchored in peer-reviewed research on agentic AI, knowledge management, output-based compensation, and organisational change management. This founding article presents the intellectual thesis behind ØØT, unpacks its three-generation architecture and dual deployment tracks, explains the tool ecosystem chosen to prevent vendor lock-in, describes the role of the Curator and its SKILL.md primitives as the firm’s compounding knowledge substrate, and explains how the framework can be installed in as little as sixty to ninety minutes. The article argues that the central problem of AI adoption is not technological but organisational — and that ØØT is the first open-source, composable framework to address all four structural gaps simultaneously: resistance management, output-based compensation, agentic knowledge infrastructure, and data sovereignty. The framework is offered as a practitioner contribution and as a research foundation for organisations building or transforming toward the operating model of 2026 and beyond.
