Look back through history — not at the famous names, but at why those names survived at all. Caesar’s campaigns. Aristotle’s philosophy. Da Vinci’s observations. Einstein’s thought experiments. We know these people not just because of what they did, but because of what was written down. Entire civilisations have vanished — brilliant cultures, remarkable individuals, decades of accumulated wisdom — not because they lacked knowledge, but because that knowledge was never recorded. Or recorded on something fragile. Or recorded in a language no one preserved. The rule is ruthless and simple: if it was not written down, it did not happen. And if it happened but was not structured and connected in a way others could access — it might as well not have happened either.
