Purpose of this site

This site presents Tali's research, writing, projects, programs and work. Everything here is published for information and education. Much of it is experimental: it documents work in progress in a field that changes quickly, and it can be incomplete, out of date or wrong.

Not advice

Nothing on this site, in Tali's articles, talks, programs or tools, or in answers from the Lumina assistant is financial, investment, legal, tax or other professional advice. Tali and the company are not licensed financial advisers and do not offer brokerage, fund management, capital raising or investment services. Mentions of technologies, projects, tokens or companies are not recommendations. Before you make decisions, especially financial or legal ones, get advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Experimental software and tools

The tools, apps and code Tali builds or contributes to, including The Curator, Lumina, AgentLink, Conduit, ØØT, MCP servers, templates, workflows, code samples and the instructions in articles, are experimental. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, they are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, security or non-infringement. They may contain bugs, change without notice or stop being maintained.

You use them at your own risk. In particular:

• Your data and backups. You are responsible for your own data and for keeping backups. Test tools on copies before you use them on anything important.
• Local-first tools. Local-first tools such as The Curator keep your data on your own machine. Tali and the company do not hold, see or back up that data and cannot recover it.
• Keys, accounts and costs. You are responsible for your own API keys, accounts and credentials with third-party providers, and for every cost they generate, including usage fees for large language model APIs. Keep keys secret and set spending limits with your provider.
• AI output. AI models can produce wrong, incomplete or harmful output. Check the results before you rely on them or act on them.
• Agents and automation. If you let AI agents or automations act on your files, accounts or systems, you are responsible for what they are allowed to do.

Some projects are published by related companies (for example under the Block Labs and 4thTech names) or by Lighthouse Group's Lumina service. Where such a project or service has its own terms, those terms apply to it.

Open-source licences

Code published in public repositories is governed by the licence in each repository. Where a licence grants you rights or limits warranties and liability, that licence applies to the code. These terms do not take away rights a licence gives you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither the company nor Tali, nor their partners, employees or contractors, is liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site, its content, the linked services, or the tools, code and materials published or linked here. This includes loss of data, profits, revenue, business or goodwill, costs of API usage or third-party services, and damage to devices or systems.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, and nothing affects the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

Third-party links and services

The site links to and embeds third-party websites and services, such as Substack, Medium, YouTube, GitHub and LinkedIn. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the text, images, design and other content on this site are © Tali Režun or Skupina Svetilnik d.o.o. (Lighthouse Group Ltd). You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link to the source. Other use needs our permission, except where an open licence says otherwise.

Names, logos and photos for press and event use are available from the press page, with guidance on how to use them. Other brand names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Members-area materials

Materials in the members area are licensed to the invited person only, for their own personal learning and work, for the duration of their access. You may not share your access, or copy, redistribute, publish, sell or use the materials to train AI models, unless we allow it in writing. Downloadable files may carry a personal watermark. We may suspend access if these terms are broken. Where a program has its own agreement, that agreement applies as well.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when the site or the law changes. The version number and date at the top show the current version. Changes apply from the date they are published; continued use of the site after that means you accept them.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The courts in Ljubljana have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts there.
