Argues that the internet became a system of centralised intermediaries trading ease of access for surveillance and data mining, with permissioned access and de-platforming. Presents 4thTech's on-chain communication (OCC) framework and SDK, in R&D since 2017, for permissionless, non-custodial, immutable email (dMail), messaging (dChat) and file exchange. Core primitive: one email or message equals one L1/L2 transaction. "Not your keys = not your email."
