# Chasing Jarvis: Basecamp

*AI for everyday work. No code, real results.*

> A six-hour, hands-on introduction to AI for non-technical professionals The first step before the Chasing Jarvis programme

- Recognised by: COTRUGLI Business School

Basecamp introduces artificial intelligence (AI) for everyday office work, without writing any code. It is the first step before the advanced Chasing Jarvis programme.

Who is it for? Professionals without a technical background whose company wants them to understand what AI can do for their work today. No programming knowledge is needed.

## Program facts

- **Who it is for:** Professionals without a technical background whose company wants them to understand what AI can do for their work today. No programming knowledge is needed.
- **Languages:** English, Slovenian or Croatian
- **Length:** 6 hours (360 minutes) including two 10-minute breaks; can be extended to 8 hours

## Structure

Seven structured blocks. Each ends with something that runs.

### Module 01: The AI landscape

What a large language model (LLM) is, in two minutes. Why the model is the engine and the app around it, the harness, is the car. Cloud or local: a live demonstration of a model running on a laptop with the internet switched off, and a simple rule for which data may go where. Your first task: research a real work question with Claude and get a one-page brief with sources.

### Module 02: Claude at work

Demonstration: thirty invoices and one question, answered in seconds and then checked. Invoice detective: you analyse your own PDF documents and turn them into an Excel table. Interactive dashboard, the main task of the day: you turn your own data into a dashboard your colleagues can open by link. Demonstration: the same findings as a Word memo and a PowerPoint deck.

### Module 03: NotebookLM

You collect sources on a topic from your work and turn them into a podcast, a video or slides. Every answer comes with a citation, because the tool answers only from your sources. This is called grounding.

### Module 04: Create: images, video, logo

You are the director: a good prompt works like a film call sheet. You create an image in Google Flow and a professional logo in Claude Design.

### Module 05: Build without code

In Google AI Studio you build a one-page website with your logo, or a simple game, just by describing it. You leave with a link you can share.

### Module 06: AI in the company: three levels

Level 1: Claude for employees. Level 2: Lumina, an agent that answers your customers from your documents. Level 3: ARIA, a live avatar, demonstrated in real time. A demonstration of The Curator, a "second brain", shows why the right context is what makes AI useful. Your task: let Claude interview you, write knowledge files, and build your own support agent in Lumina.
