The confession piece about two years of hand-written handoff files. The flaw: the most degraded model writes the most important document. The fix is The Curator's agent-memory layer (v3.17), where agents save incrementally over MCP throughout the session. Introduces the rule "knowledge accumulates, state supersedes". Portable memory is the precondition for a mixed fleet. Not code-specific.
