## Summary

Argues that the internet failed on personal digital freedom and evolved into global intermediaries that monetise private data.

## Overview

Argues that the internet failed on personal digital freedom and evolved into global intermediaries that monetise private data. Positions blockchain as the missing link: peer-to-peer trust, security, privacy, identity and digital money without intermediaries. Covers adoption by institutions, big banks and Big Tech, the remaining barriers (cost, scalability, energy), and the potential for 1.7 billion underbanked people.
